Many of Google's services are useful teaching tools, and are freely available. To take advantage of them, you need to set up a Google account.

Google Calendar
Why
Google Calendar is a quick, easy, and reliable tool you can use to post homework assignments. You can embed calendars in your SchoolFusion pages, and students or parents can also subscribe directly to the calendar, so that it shows up on their Outlook, iCal, or other calendar programs.
